Quasar Calendar Bot (“the Bot”, “we”) is a Telegram bot operated by Quasar Studio that creates events in your Google Calendar from messages you send it. This policy explains what data we access and how we handle it.
openid, email scopes) — only to
identify which account you connected and show it back to you.https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events) —
used solely to create the events you ask the Bot to add.We do not request access to read your existing calendar entries, contacts, email, files, or any other Google data.
When you send the Bot a message describing an event, we parse the date, time, title and location and call the Google Calendar API to create that single event in your calendar. That is the only use.
To keep your connection active without asking you to sign in every time, we store a Google OAuth refresh token and your account email, associated with your Telegram chat id, in a secured configuration store (Vercel Edge Config). We do not store the contents of your calendar or the events we create.
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties. Quasar Calendar Bot’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
You can disconnect at any time by sending /disconnect to the Bot, which deletes the stored
token. You can also revoke the Bot’s access directly at
myaccount.google.com/permissions. Revoking access
invalidates the stored token immediately.
Tokens are kept in a secured store and transmitted over HTTPS. They are used only to call the Google Calendar API on your behalf to create events you requested.
